My father passed away

This picture was taken in Batu Arang, a place he frequent when he was young.

My father passed away just a few weeks ago. The exact date doesn't really register in my mind. I have lost my father. This is my first experience dealing with the death of a family member... and I am not sure whether I am doing it right. Grief has yet to be.

Papa, nothing I write here will sum up to how much I appreciate all the life lessons you had taught me. No words that can match how I feel. You will always be my hero.

Innalillahi wa inna illahi rojiun.

Memasuki Perairan Singapura Secara Haram Kena 3 Sebatan

1. Muhammad Rasidi A Razak is a 28 year old Malaysia.
2. Bawak 2 orang penumpang memancing di laut.
3. For some reason dia decide untuk masuk sempadan Singapura.
4. Peronda Singapura dapat kesan dan attempt to intercept.
5. Rasidi decided to flee back to Malaysian waters.
6. Ingoring peronda punya hail, dia memecut dan beberapa kali collided with the vessel.
7. Peronda keluarkan pistol, Rasidi berhenti and was boarded.
8. Babe, dia kena penjara 4 bulan dan sebat 3 kali kot.
9. Kalau dia tak collide while being pursue mungkin sebat 2 kali.
10. kalau dia tak lari and willingly be boarded for inspection mungkin sebat 1 kali.
11. Kalau dia tak cross into singapore waters, tidak kena sebat langsung.

Selfie or Group Selfie, the lesser of two evils from a teenager mental point of view.

Personally, I think teenagers should avoid taking too much selfies and posting them on socmed platforms and much better if no need to take selfies in the first place. It will create either obsessive focus on appearance or addiction to validation.

How about group selfies?

More or less the same issue but generally it will be more of a documentation thingy where you take pictures of you with friends to be place on socmed as good memories repository.

Dear Sayang, selamat hari raya.

When I write no matter to who that person is, I will always start with the word "Dear" even when I send text messages. Official letters uses the word Dear as salutation, like most lawyers do e.g. Dear Sirs, Dear Messrs. The word "Dear" is not weird to me as I have been using it since I was 3 years old on every note that I ever wrote to my parents and friends.

About 10 years ago, I realized that this was not a norm in my local community when I sent a text message to my student and she was confused thinking that I was courting her. Later she got the chance to explain to me that she learnt that from school.

So here is my argument on this matter.

When we write "Dear Puan Maimon" it is a salutation of respect that we show towards that person that literally translates as "Puan Maimon yang dikasihi".

The word "dikasihi" does not mean I love her; it simply means I don't hate her and I am not her enemy. It simply means that we are writing either with good intentions or we are simply doing our job and following orders as so it is not personal.

People don't write blog no more . But I do.

They have turn to Instagram and Facebook to write content simply because they can't write blog.

Orang melayu hentikan bela kucing

 Dalam group komuniti Bukumuka di tempat saya tinggal kerap kali saya terlihat posting tentang kucing.

"Siapa yang ada kehilangan kucing yer, dia masuk rumah saya, saya beri dia makan".

"Sesiapa yang ada jumpa kucing saya dah 4 hari tak balik rumah".

"Sesiapa yang nak bela kucing ini saya jumpa kucing ni di taman, saya ambil sebab takut nanti kena makan anjing, tapi saya tak boleh bela sebab alahan".

Saya sarankan semua rakyat Malaysia untuk tidak bela kucing sebagai haiwan peliharaan. Banyak sebab seperti kesihatan, kebersihan, ekonomi, psikologi dan juga dari aspek merosakkan sifat semulajadi haiwan tersebut.

Jangan bela kucing. biarkan kucing kembali ke fitrah asalnya. Biar mereka pandai cari makanan sendiri dan cari teduhan sendiri. Jangan rosakkan kehidupan semulajadi kucing. Dan jangan beri alasan dengan menunggang agama untuk bela kucing. Sedar diri sikit.
